Last Friday, Russell Westbrook clinched a triple-double average for the season, becoming the first player since Oscar Robertson to achieve that feat. Then, on Sunday, Westbrook recorded his 42nd triple-double of the season in dramatic fashion, setting a new record for triple-doubles in a season.
Wednesday, Robertson was in Oklahoma City to honor Westbrook for his achievements before the Thunder's final game of the season against the Nuggets.

Then, there was an actual ceremony on the floor before the tip, in which each Robertson and Westbrook said a few words as the entire Thunder team gathered at midcourt. "I think what he has done has been historic in nature," Robertson said.
