Babbitt will return to the bench for Friday's game against the Knicks, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Babbitt got a spot start Wednesday in Atlanta in place of James Johnson, but the Heat are back to full strength Sunday and will go with Hassan Whiteside, Johnson and Josh Richardson up front.

Babbitt did not see the floor during Thursday's 108-99 win over the 76ers.
Babbitt was expected to return to a reserve role with Tyler Johnson rejoining the starting five. However, it was not clear that Babbitt would remain on the bench for the entire contest. Through 44 appearances in 2017-18, he is averaging 5.8 points (45.5 FG, 42.1 3Pt, 77.3 FT), 2.0 rebounds, 1.3 threes, 0.6 assists, 0.2 steals, and 0.1 blocks in 14.8 minutes per game.

Babbitt will return to the bench for Thursday's game against the 76ers.
Babbitt started the last three games, but hasn't been overly effective with the extra minutes and will now return to his typical bench role. Tyler Johnson will rejoin starting lineup in the corresponding move and Wayne Ellington (quad) is returning from injury, which could keep Babbitt off the floor for most of Thursday's contest. Babbitt can safely be avoided for fantasy purposes with a Heat roster at full strength.

Babbitt will start Saturday's game against the Pistons, Anthony Chiang of the Palm Beach Post reports.
The Heat will bring Kelly Olynyk off the bench Saturday, and with Bam Adebayo (personal) unavailable, it's Babbitt who will get the nod at one forward spot. James Johnson will start at the other forward, while Justise Winslow moves to the bench.

Babbitt will be available to play in Friday's game against the Bucks, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Babbitt was traded to the Heat on Thursday in exchange for Okaro White, and the stretch four will be on the bench and suited up just a day after. While the Heat will be without Kelly Olynyk (shoulder) Friday night and for the near future, the team still has a number of guys that will be featured in the rotation before Babbitt, so his minutes will likely be limited during his tenure in Miami.

Heat's Luke Babbitt: Dealt to Heat
Babbitt was traded to the Heat on Thursday in exchange for Okaro White, Marc J. Spears of ESPN.com reports.
Babbitt had, for the most part, fallen out of the Hawks rotation after being a key member early on in the season. He'll now return to familiar territory, as Babbitt spent the 2016-17 season in Miami, but this time around, given that the Heat currently boast plenty of frontcourt depth, Babbitt is not likely to see much of a role in South Beach.

Hawks' Luke Babbitt: Scores two points in Wednesday's loss
Babbit had two points (1-1 FG) in four minutes during Wednesday's 123-110 loss to the Hornets.
Babbit has been a healthy scratch in 13 of the last 20 games, seeing double-digit minutes just twice since mid-December after being somewhat of a fixture off the bench prior to that point. Given the team's depth of young talent along the wing, it should be no surprise if things remain the same going forward, as the last-placed Hawks are focused on developing guys for the future.
