The jurors in the Aaron Hernandez trial entered their seventh day of deliberations Wednesday, as the case against the former New England Patriots tight end in the murder of Odin Lloyd continues, per CBS Boston.

The 12 individuals on the jury have now deliberated for nearly 35 hours on whether Hernandez is guilty of first-degree murder in the June 2013 killing of Lloyd, who was found shot to death in an industrial park near Hernandez's home in the Boston suburbs.

The jury's verdict must be unanimous. If convicted of first-degree murder, Hernandez would be sentenced to life in prison without parole. If convicted of second-degree murder, he would be eligible for parole after 15 years.

Hernandez also must face a murder charge in the slaying of two men in Boston in 2012 after the conclusion of this trial.
