The Cleveland Browns are aware of a curious photo receiver Davone Bess tweeted on Thursday morning and are investigating the matter internally, The Plain Dealer reported.

The image (which has since been deleted on Twitter) contains what could be marijuana -- a banned substance -- as well as a drink of some kind along with a Five-Hour Energy. Oh, and he's also watching the documentary Cocaine Cowboys, which examines the 1980s drug scene in Miami.

The NFL is aware of the image, according to spokesman Greg Aiello, but he declined to say what the league may or may not do in response. This isn't the first questionable photo Bess has posted to social media. Back in December, he posted a photo in which he's lighting up something on his deck

A source told Browns beat writer Mary Kay Cabot that Bess was dealing with a serious family issue back home in Oakland.

Bess missed the final two games of the season after he left the team for personal reasons. The 28-year-old had a league-high 14 drops and he topped 28 yards in just three of 14 games this season.
