Jim Kelly has returned to Buffaly, N.Y., to resume treatment for cancer, which has recurred in the Hall of Fame Bills quarterback, NFL.com reported.

The Associated Press reported Saturday that Kelly has interest in being a part of the bidding during the impending sale of the Bills' franchise. Kelly wants to make sure the Bills remain in Buffalo.

Kelly underwent surgery in Buffalo last June to remove a squamous cell carcinoma from his upper jaw. In recent weeks, Kelly was diagnosed with the recurrence and had been undergoing treatment in New York City before making the decision to return to Buffalo on Saturday.
