Apparently, The Bachelorette has decided to target a new demographic of viewers this season: NFL fans.

Not only is Aaron Rodgers' brother, Jordan, a contestant, but the show unveiled another NFL twist this week in the form of Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.

The last time most people saw Big Ben making any sort of cameo came in 2012 in the Dark Knight Rises when he stood on the sideline and watched as Bane blew up Heinz Field.

This time around, there was no Bane, but there was a bachelorette, and she was at Heinz Field to get some dating advice from Roethlisberger, who brought along Hines Ward and Brett Keisel to help out with a group activity on the show.

If you haven't been watching the Bachelorette this season, here's a quick recap: JoJo Fletcher is looking for love and after starting the season with 26 suitors, the field has been narrowed down to 14.

Of those 14 guys, 11 of them were at Heinz Field for this week's episode that involved a giant game of flag football.

Roethlisberger didn't do much during the show, but he did listen intently to JoJo talk, which sometimes, is all a girl wants.

Big Ben also ate some Cheetos, which wasn't a complete shock because I think that's basically been his entire offseason diet for that past six years.

The big winner during the flag football game was Jordan Rodgers, who won a one-on-one date with JoJo.

The big loser was some guy named James Taylor, who got beat up so bad that he now needs stitches above his left eye.

As for Roethlisberger, it turns out that he ended up on the show because his wife, Ashley, is a big fan. Big Ben's wife was on-hand for the taping of the segment and apparently was excited to meet JoJo.

Of course, not everyone was thrilled to see Roethlisberger make a cameo on a show about dating. Several people on Twitter didn't feel that he was a good choice because of his sordid past.

Roethlisberger was accused of sexual assault in both 2008 and 2010. The second accusation led to a six-game suspension for the 2010 season that was later reduced to four games.
