Panthers wide receiver Stephen Hill , who tore his ACL on Saturday, cleared waivers Tuesday and will be placed on the team's injured reserve, per ESPN.
Hill, who spent 2014 on Carolina's practice squad, will not count against the team's 90-man roster.
