Michael Sam may or may not get cut on Saturday, but either way, he's not going to sit at home and worry about it. The Rams defensive lineman is in Columbia, Mo., to see his former team Missouri in its season opener against South Dakota State. 

The game kicks off at 3:30 p.m. ET, that's just 30 minutes before the 4 p.m. ET deadline that the Rams have to decide if they want to keep or cut the NFL's first openly gay player. 

UPDATE: Michael Sam was released by the Rams on Saturday afternoon.
