Here's some free advice to every airline that flies out of Oakland: Make sure there's plenty of alcohol on board the next time your plane is headed to a Raiders away game, because apparently, Raiders fans can drink.

We know that for a fact after what happened on a flight from Oakland to Kansas City on Wednesday. Jimmy Durkin, a reporter with the Bay Area News Group, was on a KC-bound flight with a bunch of Raiders fans when he overheard one of the flight attendants make an important announcement.

Yup. They ran out of alcohol.

Believe it or not, this feat of mile-high drinking is actually even more impressive than it sounds. The flight from Oakland to Kansas City is roughly three hours long, and since no one is served during the first 15 minutes of the flight or the last 15 minutes, that means that means these Raiders fans polished off every drop of alcohol on this plane in just two and a half hours.

The good news for those fans is that alcohol gives you a false sense of warmth so those fans probably won't know just how cold they are as they watch the game at chilly Arrowhead Stadium on Thursday night. The kickoff temperature is expected to be roughly 20 degrees.

Here's a preview of the game, which kicks off at 8;25 p.m. ET and can be seen on NBC or the NFL Network. The game will also be streaming live on Twitter.
