Rams CB Trumaine Johnson was arrested and charged with DUI on Friday. (USATSI)

St. Louis Rams cornerback Trumaine Johnson was arrested and charged with misdemeanor DUI on Friday morning in Missoula, Mont., according to CBS affiliate KPAX-8.

According to jail records, Johnson was booked at approximately 3:05 a.m. MT and released about an hour later after posting a $700 bond.

Johnson, the Rams' third-round pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, played in all 16 games for St. Louis last season and started three. Johnson tied for second on the team in passes defended (8) and tied for third in interceptions (2).

This isn't the first time Johnson has been in trouble with the law in Missoula. As a senior at Montana, Johnson was arrested in October 2011 for disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and obstructing a peace officer in an incident that involved him being tased. Johnson eventually pleaded no contest to the charges.

Johnson also made the news in July, when he missed the first day of Rams training camp after oversleeping.
