It's official: This Sunday's Chargers-Raiders game at O.co Coliseum will, in fact, kick off at 8:35 p.m. PT. This isn't a concerted effort to keep the East Coast from being subjected to Raiders football, but a logistical consequence of the Oakland A's hosting a playoff game on Saturday.
Sunday Night Football: Raiders to host Chargers in Prime Time under the lights at @OdotCoCOLISEUM Oct 6 at 8:35 p.m. PT on @nflnetwork

So why would an A's game on Oct. 5 affect Raiders' kickoff on Oct. 6? Because it takes nearly 24 hours to reconfigure O.co from baseball to football.
One more thing: Prior to the main event in Oakland, the Bay Area undercard for Sunday evening football has the 49ers hosting the Texans at 5:30 p.m. PT at Candlestick Park. Alert Siri accordingly.
