The defensive tackle has recovered from the undisclosed injury he suffered with the Colts in the preseason and has found a new team. Moore will likely remain on the practice squad barring any injuries to the active roster.

Damontre Moore: Waived off injured reserve
Moore (undisclosed) reached an injury settlement with the Colts and was waived off injured reserve Wednesday, independent NFL journalist Aaron Wilson reports.
Moore signed with the Colts at the start of camp and was placed on injured reserve with the unspecified issue last week. He's now free to sign elsewhere, assuming he's able to pass a physical.

Moore (undisclosed) was placed on injured reserve by the Colts on Tuesday.
Moore was signed by the Colts in July, but will miss the remainder of the season with an unknown injury. The veteran has played for the Giants, Dolphins, Seahawks, Cowboys, Raiders and 49ers during his 10-year career. His best season came in 2014 when he appeared in all 16 games for the Giants and registered 32 tackles and 5.5 sacks. Moore's six-game suspension for violation of the NFL's performance-enhancing drug policy was lifted Monday, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Moore can now return to his role along Seattle's defensive line as the team searches to close out an NFC West divisional crown over its final three regular-season games. The 28-year-old hasn't yet started a contest in 2020, but he's fielded 24.3 defensive snaps per game with a total of eight tackles, one sack and one forced fumble.

Seahawks' Damontre Moore: Receives six-game ban
Moore (undisclosed) received a six-game suspension Monday for violating the NFL's policy on performance-enhancing substances, Gregg Bell of The Tacoma News Tribune reports.
The 28-year-old exited Sunday's win over the 49ers with an unspecified injury, but he'll now be sidelined for the next six weeks due to the suspension. Moore will be eligible to return for the Dec. 20 game at Washington.

An NFL journeyman, Moore has spent time with the Giants, Dolphins, Cowboys, Raiders, 49ers and Seahawks. It's his second stint with the team, as he spent four games with them during the 2016 season, recording seven tackles and half a sack before a foot injury landed him on injured reserve.

After Ronald Blair tore his ACL and was placed on IR, the 49ers brought in Moore to add depth at defensive end. Since being picked by the Giants in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft, Moore has suited up in 54 games for five teams, generating 63 tackles, 10 sacks and two forced fumbles. The 27-year-old spent time with the Niners during the preseason, so he should have familiarity with the system.
