Alex Balducci: Released by Jets
Balducci was waived by the Jets on Friday, Brian Costello of the New York Post reports.
A defensive lineman in college, Balducci converted to the offensive side of the ball last season for the 49ers. However, his time in San Francisco was cut short after the Jets claimed him off waivers early in training camp. He was hopeful to earn a role providing depth on the line, but it seems he did not make enough of an impression throughout the preseason.

Jets' Alex Balducci: Signs with Jets
Balducci was signed by the Jets on Monday, SNY's Ralph Vacchiano reports.
Balducci was released by the Redskins in early August, but he quickly found a familiar home. The offensive lineman entered the league as an undrafted rookie with the 49ers, but he'd spent time with the Jets after being claimed off waivers last season. The offensive guard position appears to be in good health at this point, so Balducci could struggle to make the 53-man roster.

Jets' Alex Balducci: Claimed off waivers by Jets
The Jets claimed Balducci off waivers Wednesday, Ralph Vacchiano of SNY.tv reports.
Balducci was a defensive lineman throughout his collegiate career at Oregon, but made the switch to the offensive line last season as a member of the 49ers. He ended up playing just two games for the 49ers after being promoted from the team's practice squad and was eventually cut during the offseason. He'll now head to the Jets, where he'll serve in a depth role at guard if he's able to make the 53-man roster out of training camp.
