Steelers' Nat Berhe: Back to full health
Berhe (pectoral) was "fully cleared" to resume football activities Monday, Josina Anderson of ESPN reports.
Berhe was placed on injured reserve Oct. 4 due to a torn pectoral, limiting him to four games last season with the Steelers. This news will come as a major positive for the 27-year-old, who is eligible for unrestricted free agency. Coming off injury, Berhe likely will start off as nothing but a depth secondary player wherever he lands.

Berhe (pectoral) was placed on injured reserve by the Steelers on Tuesday.
Berhe originally exited Sunday's game against the Ravens and did not return due to the injury, which was later deemed to be a torn pectoral. The former San Diego State standout signed with the Steelers in the offseason as an unrestricted free agent and recorded three tackles in 2018. In a corresponding move, Pittsburgh promoted Brian Allen to its 53-man roster from the practice squad to add some depth to the secondary after the loss of Berhe.

Berhe had been subbing in as a dime linebacker for certain schemes Sunday, so his absence could force a minor tweak in the Steelers' defensive game plan. An update on Berhe's status should come once Pittsburgh returns to practice this week.

Berhe re-signed with the Steelers on Monday, Ray Fittipaldo of The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
Berhe was cut on Saturday as the Steelers whittled their roster down at final cuts, but his departure didn't last long. The Steelers choose to bring back the veteran safety after placing rookie linebacker Ola Adeniyi on injured reserve. Berhe should become an instant contributor on special teams heading into Week 1.

Berhe signed a one-year contract with the Steelers on Friday, Teresa Varley of the team's official site reports.
Berhe was a key special teams player for the Giants since being selected in the fifth round of the 2014 NFL Draft, one who led the unit in tackles last season. He'll likely serve Pittsburgh in a similar capacity, though he does have two career defensive starts to his name and certainly adds depth to the Steelers' secondary, as well.
