James Wright: Dropped by Colts
The Colts released Wright (knee) after he failed a physical Tuesday, Mike Chappell of Fox 59 News Indianapolis reports.
Wright landed on injured reserve with a knee injury before the 2018 season, and he's likely still battling this condition. Once he gets healthy, he'll look for a depth role elsewhere. Since entering the league in 2014, Wright has suited up in 24 games and caught 18 passes for 197 yards and zero touchdowns.

Browns' James Wright: Suffers bruised lung
Wright suffered a bruised lung during Thursday's practice and subsequently missed Friday's scrimmage, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.
Wright was claimed off waivers by the Browns in March, and with the team's lack of depth at wide receiver, the former Bengal has a legitimate opportunity to make the roster. He will, however, miss at least a few day as he waits for his bruised lung to heal.

Wright was claimed off waivers by the Browns on Tuesday, Cleveland.com reports.
Wright was waived by the Bengals on Monday but did not fall past his old coach Hue Jackson and the Bengals. Wright compiled 106 yards on 13 receptions for the Bengals in 2016 across 13 games. He also tallied 11 tackles in his special teams role. Wright will join a group of young receivers in Cleveland and will have an opportunity to prove himself in training camp. The team let Terrelle Pryor walk in free agency, so outside of Corey Coleman, there is room on the depth chart to earn some playing time.
