Darby (undisclosed) and the Saints agreed to an injury settlement on Saturday, Nick Underhill of The Advocate reports.
Darby's injury was never disclosed, but it was enough to initially land him on IR, though he and the team have now decided to part ways entirely.

Saints' Alden Darby: Placed on IR
Darby was placed on IR after being waived/injured and clearing waivers, Mike Triplett of ESPN NFL Nation reports.
Darby's injury has never been disclosed but with him now on IR the severity isn't of much importance, as he can't play this year. In his absence, Jamal Golden and Trae Elston will likely see an small increase in reps.
