  • Texans' Grayland Arnold: Won't play Sunday

    Arnold (calf) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Cardinals. The 26-year-old safety out of Baylor popped up on the Texans' injury report Thursday with a calf issue, and he was held out of Friday's practice, so it's no surprise that he'll be inactive this Sunday. Arnold has appeared in eight games for Houston thus far, recording 18 total tackles, including one tackle for loss, and one forced fumble.

  • Texans' Grayland Arnold: Returning from IR

    Houston activated Arnold (quadriceps) from its injured reserve list Friday ahead of Saturday's game at Tennessee. After missing the Texans' last seven games recovering from a quadriceps injury he sustained in Week 8 versus the Titans, Arnold appears poised to return for the rematch in Week 16. The 25-year-old safety has played exclusively on special teams up to this point in 2022.

    Arnold (hamstring) was a full participant during the Eagles' practice session Wednesday. Based on his level of participation at midweek, chances are looking strong that the Baylor product will be available for a Week 16 road trip to Cowboys Stadium. If Arnold suits up for the intradivisional matchup against Dallas, his involvement will likely be limited to special-teams duties.
