Virgies was waived by the Giants on Saturday, Tom Rock of Newsday reports.
The Giants signed former James Madison running back Khalid Abdullah on Saturday, which effectively signaled the end of Virgies' tenure with the team. He'll look to land with another team in time for training camp later in the summer, but he'll likely have an uphill climb in terms of clinching a roster spot.
