Thomas isn't guaranteed to be the Colts' starting free safety in 2024, according to defensive coordinator Gus Bradley, James Boyd of The Athletic reports. Thomas started 15 of the 17 games he appeared in last season, but that doesn't mean he'll maintain that role this year. Thomas had one total tackle but played on all 59 of the defense's snaps in Sunday's loss at Tennessee. Thomas got the start at free safety even with Julian Blackmon active and playing 21 snaps. It's not clear if Thomas has overtaken Blackmon for the starting job or if Blackmon is just working his way back to full speed after not playing for three games due to an ankle injury....
