Giants' Trent Harris: Designated to return from IR
Harris (ankle) was designated to return from injured reserve Wednesday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports. Harris suffered the ankle injury in Week 12 against the Eagles and has been sidelined since. His return to practice will start a 21-day window for him to be activated to the active roster. However, with the Giants out of the playoff picture, it's unclear if New York will rush Harris back for the final two games of the season.... See More ... See Less -
Giants' Trent Harris: Placed on IR
Harris (ankle) was put on injured reserve Friday, Zack Rosenblatt of The Newark Star-Ledger reports. The linebacker got hurt in Week 12 against the Eagles and will now miss at least three contests before he can be activated off IR. In his absence, Quincy Roche and Cam Brown will likely see expanded roles.... See More ... See Less -
Giants' Trent Harris: Questionable to return
Harris (ankle) is questionable to return Sunday against the Eagles, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports. Harris suffered the injury in the early stages of the first quarter, and it remains to be seen if he'll be back. If that's not the case, then Cam Brown and Quincy Roche should see even more snaps, though Harris' potential absence the rest of the way won't impact fantasy rosters.... See More ... See Less -
Giants' Trent Harris: Signed from practice squad
Harris was signed from the Giants' practice squad Monday, Michael Elsen of the team's official site reports. Harris has been elevated from the Giants' practice squad each of the last two games. He's contributed on defense as well as special teams, netting six tackles (two solo). The 25-year-old will look to make an impact Monday against the Buccaneers.... See More ... See Less -
Giants' Trent Harris: Promoted from practice squad
Harris was promoted from the Giants' practice squad to the active roster Tuesday, Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record reports. The 25-year-old joined New York's practice squad earlier in October and was elevated as an extra player for the past two games. Harris appeared in one of those games and played nine defensive snaps, but he apparently made enough of an impression during practice to warrant a longer-term look on the roster.... See More ... Dolphins' Trent Harris: Signs ERFA tender
Harris officially signed his contract tender with Miami on Wednesday. The Dolphins tendered Harris as an exclusive-rights free agent in March, so there was no realistic chance of him joining another club. The 24-year-old mostly played a reserve role in 2019, totaling 22 tackles, 1.5 sacks and one forced fumble in 11 games.... See More ... See Less -
Dolphins' Trent Harris: Sidelined Week 14
Harris (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's divisional tilt against the Jets, Adam H. Beasley of the Miami Herald reports. Harris has missed three straight games as a healthy scratch. Dolphins' Trent Harris: Ready to go for MNF
Harris (foot) will play in Monday's game against the Steelers. Harris elevated to a full-speed practice Saturday and is all clear going forward. He's the main reserve outside linebacker for this prime-time matchup, so he's set to fill a respectable role yet again.... See More ... See Less -
Dolphins' Trent Harris: Making season debut
Harris (foot) is active for Sunday's Week 3 tilt against the Cowboys. Harris will be making his NFL debut Sunday after sitting for the first two games of the campaign. Dolphins' Trent Harris: Questionable for Week 2
Harris (foot) is considered questionable for Sunday's divisional matchup with New England, Adam H. Beasley of the Miami Herald reports. Harris didn't practice Wednesday or Thursday, but he was able to get in a limited session Friday. The 23-year-old missed Miami's season opener with this injury. If Harris manages to suit up Sunday, he'll likely be limited to a special teams role or as a reserve behind Sam Eguavoen and Charles Harris (wrist).... See More ... See Less -
Dolphins' Trent Harris: No-go Week 1
