  • Seahawks' Kenny McIntosh: Out for Week 18

McIntosh (thumb) is out for Sunday's game against the Cardinals, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports. Coach Pete Carroll said McIntosh injured his thumb in practice this week, Brady Henderson of ESPN.com reports. The rookie running back will end his first regular season having played zero offensive snaps as the Seahawks' fourth running back much of the campaign. Even when Kenneth Walker missed time, McIntosh couldn't see the field behind Zach Charbonnet and DeeJay Dallas.

  • Seahawks' Kenny McIntosh: Still no offensive run

McIntosh didn't play an offensive snap in Thursday's 41-35 loss to the Cowboys. Head coach Pete Carroll hinted towards some offensive work for the seventh-round rookie this week with Kenneth Walker (oblique) still out, but Zach Charbonnet (knee) operated as the workhorse while DeeJay Dallas picked up the rest of the reps. Charbonnet's injury doesn't sound too serious, and if he's back for Week 14 versus the 49ers, McIntosh will likely remain on the bench once again.

  • Seahawks' Kenny McIntosh: Chance to debut Sunday

McIntosh (knee) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's game against the Commanders, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports. McIntosh has yet to make his NFL debut, as he suffered a knee injury in August and has spent the majority of the year on injured reserve. Head coach Pete Carroll told reporters Friday that the rookie running back is physically ready to play, but he's not sure if he wants to make the move to activate him to the team's active roster just yet, per Brady Henderson of ESPN.com.

  • Seahawks' Kenny McIntosh: Not listed on injury report

McIntosh (knee) was not listed on the injury report Thursday after practicing in full Wednesday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. McIntosh remains on injured reserve even after being designated to return Oct. 25 and practicing last week. The 2023 seventh-round pick is fourth on Seattle's running back depth chart behind DeeJay Dallas, who returned to practice Thursday after missing Wednesday's session.

  • Seahawks' Kenny McIntosh: Not returning yet

McIntosh (knee) was not activated off injured reserve Saturday, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports. The Seahawks still have two weeks to activate McIntosh off IR after the rookie was designated to return to practice earlier this week, so there doesn't seem to be much of a rush. Expect Kenneth Walker, Zach Charbonnet and Deejay Dallas to once again all factor in the backfield.

  • Seahawks' Kenny McIntosh: Status unclear for Week 9

McIntosh (knee) was listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's game versus the Ravens, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. McIntosh was designated to return to practice Wednesday after spending the first eight weeks of the season on IR with a knee injury. While the 23-year-old was a full participant in each practice Week 9, it appears he may not be fully ready to suit up for Sunday's game against Baltimore. McIntosh will also need to be activated to the 53-man roster in order to suit up against the Ravens, though he'd likely see little offensive playing time with fellow running backs Kenneth Walker, Zach Charbonnet and DeeJay Dallas all healthy.

  • Seahawks' Kenny McIntosh: Full practice Thursday

McIntosh (knee) was a full participant at Seattle's practice Thursday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. McIntosh remains on injured reserve, but his ability to log a full practice bodes well for his chances to return soon. Kenneth Walker (calf) was a non-participant while Zach Charbonnet (hamstring) was a full-go Thursday, so it's possible that McIntosh, if healthy, could serve as a backup option Sunday versus Cleveland.

  • Seahawks' Kenny McIntosh: Cleared to practice

The Seahawks designated McIntosh (knee) to return from injured reserve Wednesday, Curtis Crabtree of Fox 13 Seattle reports. McIntosh was a limited participant in the team's practice Wednesday and has a chance to play Sunday against the Browns. The rookie seventh-round pick could be involved in Seattle's offense from the get-go as both Kenneth Walker (calf) and Zach Charbonnet (hamstring) are dealing with injuries.

  • Seahawks' Kenny McIntosh: Will wait to make debut

McIntosh (knee) is listed as out for Sunday's game versus the Rams, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports. After sustaining a sprained knee back in early August, McIntosh will now be sidelined for Seattle's matchup in Week 1. Even when healthy, it's hard to imagine him getting any volume of touches as long as Kenneth Walker and Zach Charbonnet are active.

  • Seahawks' Kenny McIntosh: Uncertain for opener

McIntosh (knee) is uncertain to be available for the Week 1 matchup against the Rams, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official website reports. The Seahawks selected McIntosh with the 237th overall pick in the seventh round of April's draft. Although he's been nursing a sprained left knee since early in camp, there was never much doubt about McIntosh earning a spot on the 53-man roster. More clarity on his status for Week 1 will be gained when Seattle releases its initial injury report next week. The rookie is expected to back up Kenneth Walker, Zach Charbonnet and DeeJay Dallas to start the year.

  • Seahawks' Kenny McIntosh: Another RB to Seattle

The Seahawks selected McIntosh in the seventh round of the NFL Draft, 237th overall. Buried behind Zamir White and James Cook on the Georgia depth chart, McIntosh finally emerged as the team's top back last season leading the team in rushing (829 yards) and receptions (43) out of the backfield. The 23-year-old is slated to work behind Kenneth Walker and Zach Charbonnet as a rookie, but following the offseason loss of Travis Homer, McIntosh could potentially carve out a third-down role in a Seattle backfield that also includes DeeJay Dallas.
