The Ottawa Senators will be getting a big lift to their lineup on Monday night as they look to upset and eliminate the No. 1 seed New York Rangers.

Daniel Alfredsson, having missed the past three games with a concussion, told the media on Monday morning that he will play for the Senators in Game 6. He was injured during Ottawa's Game 2 overtime win in New York when he was hit up high by Carl Hagelin.

Hagelin was suspended three games for the hit.

Alfredsson scored one goal in the series before being injured.
