How wild was Kansas’ comeback win over West Virginia the other night? Are the Jayhawks now basically guaranteed to win a 13th straight Big 12 title?
I discussed those things with Matt Norlander at the top of this episode of the Eye on College Basketball podcast, and we both agreed that, yes, the Jayhawks are going to win a 13th straight Big 12 title. They’ll probably win it outright. It’s impossible to imagine them not at least winning a share. It’s an amazing accomplishment and something I don’t believe we’ll ever see at the Power-5 level again.
After that conversation we turned our attention to NC State.
Is Mark Gottfried really done?
Might it happen this week?
And does the school really think it can lure an A-list candidate to replace Gottfried? Because, for a variety of reasons, I just don’t see it. I explained why in this podcast. And then we closed by previewing Duke-Virginia and Maryland-Northwestern. Needless to say, we offered predictions for both games.
