Eaton was designated for assignment by the Angels on Sunday.
Eaton signed with the Angels over the All-Star break after being let go by the White Sox, and he's again lost his spot on a big-league roster. The 32-year-old appeared in 26 games for the Halos and slashed .200/.232/.277 in 69 plate appearances, which is worse than his numbers (.201/.298/.344) with the White Sox.
