Angels' Albert Pujols: Dealing with foot injury

Pujols has been playing with plantar fasciitis in his right foot, Bill Shaikin of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Although Pujols has been playing with a hurt foot, it hasn't seemed to influence his production at the plate. Over the last 14 games, Pujols is hitting .368/.367/.667 with five home runs and 14 RBI. The Angels have no intentions of putting Pujols on the disabled list, as they expect he'll be able to continue being their DH despite the ailment. However, it may be possible that he'll have more days off to avoid further aggravating the injury.
