Street (lat, triceps) is expected to return from the disabled list Thursday in time for the Angels' series finale with the Yankees, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

The embattled reliever is with the team Wednesday, but the team will wait one more day to officially activate him. Street claims that he feels completely ready to return to the Halos' relief corps, but his role is still up in the air. Cam Bedrosian began the season as the closer and hasn't allowed a single run all season, although Street's track record in the ninth inning is very impressive. The Angels' plans should become evident when a save situation arises in the coming days, but it could drastically affect the 33-year-old's value since he doesn't have the gaudy strikeout numbers to make him attractive without the closer's role.
