Nolasco gave up two runs over three innings in a Triple-A game Tuesday. He struck out six batters without issuing a walk.

The 34-year-old remains a lock for the Angels' Opening Day rotation, but it is unclear which spot he will have in the order. Nolasco is a low-end fantasy starter who has only posted an ERA below 4.00 twice in his 11-year career. What the veteran does bring to the table is an ability to eat innings and stay in the zone with his pitches (3.0 K/BB or higher in three of his last four seasons). He's really only a deep-league option at this point, but he could have value in standard leagues as a streaming option in the right matchups.
