Gonzalez's hot bat has manager A.J. Hinch finding a spot for him in the lineup daily, Jake Kaplan of the Houston Chronicle reports. "I'm not keeping him out of the lineup," Hinch said. "I'm finding ways to get him in and it's costing other guys playing time."
Gonzalez went deep again in Thursday's loss, making it four straight games with a home run. He's played three infield positions and two in the outfield this season. Add in his ability to hit from both sides of the plate and it's not too difficult for Hinch find a spot for him.
