Fiers will assume a role out of the bullpen starting Monday, Jake Kaplan of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Brad Peacock will move into the rotation in place of Fiers, who has struggled mightily this season. Fiers has allowed a whopping 18 home runs in just 46.2 innings and owns a 5.21 ERA. He figures to be a long relief option should any of the Astros starters have a short outing.
