Braves' Anthony Recker: Accepts outright to Triple-A

Recker was outrighted to Triple-A Gwinnett on Tuesday, David O'Brien of the AJC reports.

The veteran backstop was DFA'd on Sunday to clear a 40-man spot for the recently acquired Matt Adams, but Recker went unclaimed on waivers and will remain with the organization. With the way Tyler Flowers and Kurt Suzuki are producing with the Braves, Recker figures to be an organizational depth piece at Triple-A for the foreseeable future.
