Colon was tagged for five runs on eight hits and two walks over three innings while striking out one in Monday's Grapefruit League game against the Pirates.
More alarmingly, Pittsburgh trotted out a lineup full of prospects and younger players rather than its established regulars, but a bad outing in the middle of March is still nothing to be too concerned about. Colon will head into his 20th major league season with a secure spot in the Braves rotation, and could reach the 2,500 career strikeout mark late in the year.
