Peterson signed a minor-league contract with the Brewers on Wednesday.
The 26-year-old first baseman/corner outfielder attracted the attention of the Brewers through his performance in the Mexican Winter League, where he's slashed .316/.373/.602 with 11 home runs in 37 games with Monterrey. His contract with the Brewers doesn't include an invitation to big-league spring training, so Peterson will presumably report to Triple-A Nashville when the 2021 campaign begins.
