Brinson was added to Milwaukee's 40-man roster Friday.
It comes as no surprise that the Brewers opted to protect Brinson, as he quickly became the stacked organization's top prospect shortly after arriving in a trade from the Rangers. The 22-year-old toolshed impressed during his first stint at Triple-A last season, and although he strikes out a lot, his upside will likely land him a spot patrolling the outfield at Miller Park at some point in 2017.
