Cardinals' Lance Lynn: Rehab moving to Double-A

Lynn (elbow) will make his next rehab start Wednesday with Double-A Springfield, Jim Hayes of FOX Sports Midwest reports.

Lynn increased his pitch count from 27 pitches in his first rehab outing to 36 in his second, and he will bump up to 50 pitches in his third outing Wednesday. He will likely throw at least a couple more times in the minors, but should be ready to join the Cardinals' rotation at some point in early-to-mid September.
