Grichuk hit a pinch-hit home run and finished 2-for-2 with two runs scored in Monday's win against the Phillies.
Grichuk was mired in an 0-for-17 slump, so even though the homer came as the Cardinals were closing out a blowout win, it had to feel great for the young outfielder. It was a no-doubter, estimated at 439 feet. Even with Grichuk slumping to start the season, he has eight extra-base hits already and continues to show great power. It's his 26.7 percent strikeout that has limited him to a .200/.278/.413 line thus far.
