Tazawa signed with the Cubs on Tuesday, Jon Heyman of MLB Network reports.

The veteran agreed to a minor-league deal but will make up to $900,000 in the majors, Mark Gonzales of the Chicago Tribune reports. Tazawa was released by the team Saturday after failing to win a bullpen spot, but the Cubs evidently liked him enough to keep him around as injury insurance.
