La Stella was removed from the NLCS roster in an effort to counter the Dodgers lineup, Patrick Mooney of CSN Chicago reports.
The Cubs opted to bump La Stella in favor of the left-handed Rob Zastryzny. It appears the Cubs wanted another southpaw available to matchup with the Dodgers' left-handed heavy lineup.
