Cubs' Tommy La Stella: Will be among September call-ups

La Stella is expected to be called up Thursday when major league rosters expand, David Schuster of WSCR Chicago reports.

La Stella, who last played with the Cubs on July 28, has batted .273 through just 12 games for Triple-A Iowa. He refused to join the minor league club after being demoted and was temporarily placed on the inactive list. Now the 27-year-old gets another shot in the majors, where he is hitting .295 with eight RBI this season.
