Pollock (groin strain) won't be able to start his rehab for a week, but the Diamondbacks are holding out hope that he will be able to return before the end of the season, MLB.com's Steve Gilbert reports.

He'll need to let the injury cool down before he begins to rehab it, and at that point there will only be two weeks left in the season, so it's certainly possible that he won't return in 2016. In the meantime, Socrates Brito figures to see a good chunk of the playing time in center field.
