Giants' Madison Bumgarner: Strikes out eight batters Tuesday

Bumgarner (8-2) allowed two runs on four hits and one walk while striking out eight over eight innings en route to the win Tuesday against the Brewers.

Bumgarner was in 2-2 game in the sixth inning before the Giants scratched out a run on a wild pitch in the seventh inning to lead the righty to his eighth victory of the season. This marked the first time in seven starts that he allowed more than one run, and his ERA is a stellar 1.91. He'll make his next start Monday at the Pirates.
