Miranda will remain in Seattle's rotation as the Mariners optioned Taijuan Walker to Triple-A Tacoma, Bob Dutton of the Tacoma News Tribune reports.
Despite a series of mediocre performances at Triple-A Tacoma this season, Miranda impressed during his first start with the big club. In said game, he allowed just two runs and struck out five batters over six innings against the Red Sox. His next scheduled start will be Friday against the Athletics.
