Martin was recalled by the Mariners on Thursday, Greg Johns of MLB.com reports.
Wednesday's debacle in San Diego in which the Mariners allowed 14 runs led manager Scott Servais to make a bullpen shakeup Thursday. Martin was recalled to take the roster spot of Joel Peralta, who was DFA'd after allowing three earned runs in 1.1 innings Wednesday. That said, Martin hasn't necessarily been lights-out at Triple-A Tacoma this season, notching a 5.67 ERA across 12 appearances, including eight starts.
