Herrera cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A New Orleans on Saturday, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
Herrera's .200/.288/.314 slash line understandably didn't stir up a ton of interest on the waiver wire. He'll remain as organizational depth for the Marlins.
