Familia pitched a clean ninth inning Sunday to pick up his 35th save of the season in a win over the Marlins.
He's already just eight saves shy of Armando Benitez's club record of 43 set back in 2001 with over two full months of the season to go. The Mets' rotation has shown some cracks, but the back of their bullpen remains in excellent hands with Familia.
