The Mets and Nationals are among a few teams considering a trade for Athletics closer Tyler Clippard, according to CBSSports.com Baseball Insider Jon Heyman. Both teams would consider Clippard for a setup role.
The Yankees have also been tied to Clippard, but there is no evidence they are involved at the moment, per Heyman.
