The Mets outrighted Tropeano to Triple-A Syracuse on Monday.
Tropeano lost his spot on the Mets' 40-man roster Friday, when he was designated for assignment to make room for the team's new acquisitions following the trade deadline. Between the Giants and Mets, Tropeano has made five appearances at the big-league level in 2021, working five innings while giving up three runs (two earned) on eight hits and three walks.
