Garcia was claimed off waivers by the Orioles on Friday.
Garcia missed much of last year with finger and elbow injuries. When available, he struggled to a .213/.248/.259 slash line across a career-high 47 games for the Reds. Assuming he lasts the winter on Baltimore's 40-man roster, he'll compete to be Adley Rutschman's backup next spring.
