Joyce will sign a minor league deal with the Pirates, Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports reports.

Joyce will look to make the team as a reserve outfielder and pinch-hit option, as the 31-year-old has proven over his career that he can hit right-handed pitching, posting a .253 mark. Those numbers took a major landslide over 92 games with the Angels in 2015, as Joyce managed just a .186 average and five home runs over 260 plate appearances against righties. He'll get his shot at redemption in the National League, but has some work to do before showing up on the fantasy radar.
