Griffin (oblique) isn't expected to resume throwing off a mound for at least a couple of weeks, Stefan Stevenson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.

Griffin threw long toss on flat ground Tuesday, but the Rangers aren't eager to have him pitch off a slope just yet while he continues to battle a strained oblique, the same injury that's afflicting Cole Hamels. It's uncertain if he'll be able to return from the disabled list before the All-Star break.
