Wright has been placed on the 10-day disabled list with a sprained left knee, Evan Drellich of CSN New England reports.

Wright has been awful in 2017, but this is unfortunate timing because he had his best knuckleball of the season during Saturday's outing. It's still possible that Wright will miss only one start, although we'll have to wait until later in the week for a full update. The Red Sox haven't yet made a decision as to who will take Wright's spot in the rotation. That spot was already likely to be gone upon David Price's return from an elbow injury, so it's not clear that Wright will have a rotation spot awaiting him once he's ready to come back.
